With the pace of urbanization accelerating and the density of construction group increasing, it is rather necessary to install anti-collision safety monitoring and control system on tower crane to improve the working efficiency and security. For on-site tower crane's working environment is relatively poor, in order to ensure the reliability and stability of the monitoring system, the paper presents an anti-collision safety monitoring and control system based on CAN bus used as the system's structure framework, which has the advantages of simple structure, low development cost, high transmission rate and strong anti-interference capability. The paper first introduces the establishment of the system's bus architecture model, then, presents the system hardware and software design on this basis, at last, shows anti-interference measures taken.In terms of hardware, according to signal deference, the node design based on the single-chip microcomputer P89V51 for sampling digital signals and the node design based on the single-chip microcomputer ADuC842 for sampling analog signals are presented, which are used for tower crane's sampling and preprocessing data. Then, the main node based on embedded controller PC104 is given in the paper, which is used to collect information from sampling nodes, calculate and process the information, finally display the results on LCD.Based on the system hardware design, node sampling program and communication program between main mode and intelligent node are shown in the paper, which are used for sampling and transmitting data. In order to improve data communication rate, the system takes Echo Protocol for communication between main node and sampling, and adopts interrupt and query way for communication between main node and output control node.At last, for the on-site crane's environment is complicated, the paper also presents hardware and software anti-interference measures taken. After debugging and test in the laboratory, it proves that CAN bus used in the tower crane anti-collision safety monitoring and control system is feasible and practical, then after some improvements and debugging, the system can be used in practical projects.
