The dissertation addresses on blog's culture and communicative characteristic. The author briefly introduces the situation of blog, investigates the inherent cultural features, researches communication rules with communicative perspective, and demonstrates the common characteristic in blog, respectively.In the first part, it summarizes blog categorization, features, history and development in China. And it surveys related researches on blog.Then, the dissertation analyses blog's cultural characteristic, describes the cultural background. It further explains that blog meets the popular culture requirements.Subsequently, the author investigates the communication forms and features taking exemplification with some classic news story brought by blog. It can be found that blog incorporates personal communication with the mass media. It shows that blog has great impacted on the traditional media. Compared with traditional communicative means, blog has its limitation.The final section demonstrates the common characteristic in blog. It can be concluded that blog is the most popular and common media till now, and therefore blog is the most energetic and promising.
