Compared to other illumination light sources, laser possess several unequaled qualities in its well-orientation, self-colored and high luminance. So laser display can produce much more polychrome colors, achieve higher pixel resolution and higher image luminance. Large screen scanning laser display has been developed based on the computer, laser techniques and image processing techniques. It has been mostly used in entertainments, advertisements and televisions. It not only has huge economy benefits, but also society benefits. This paper has made systematic researches on the scanning technologies of large screen scanning laser display system. The main contents are as follows:1.It elaborates the purpose and significance of laser display technology, and introduces the domestic and foreign development situation of laser display technology and scanner. Then it points out the laser display technology will be the most potential big screen multimedia display.2.It introduces the laser radiation theory principle, clarifies the classification of the laser machine and elaborates the research progress of the diode pump solid state laser.3.The paper compares the five kinds of laser scanning display technology in detail and selects the double-galvanometer system to carry on the scanning.4.It discusses the structure design of the double-galvanometer system in detail and analyzes the image distortion, involve pincushion distortion, focus error, non-linear distortion, and then gives the adjustment methods. With the advance of galvanometer performance, the double-galvanometer scanning will meet of the large screen laser display system's need.5.It designs the galvanometer control system based on singlechip, completes the control to the galvanometer scanning module and achieves the purpose which the simple sketch and writing display on the long-distance range large screen accurately.6.It proposes a closed-way scanning method, and makes the preliminary design using the DSP control system aiming to that the galvanometer can't perform the best velocity.
