Nowadays, the display field is following the way of the large screen, high definition, high brightness and high resolution, and there are many new display techniques emerging and developing into perfection. Laser scanning display possesses several high quality aspects due to the fully saturated colors, the high-resolution capability of a focused laser beam, and high brightness and contrast capability of lasers. So, it's hopeful to see its bright future.This paper mainly study on a kind of large screen scanning laser display system which use three solid-state lasers as illumination light sources, the wavelength of the three lasers is 473nm, 532nm, 671nm respectively. The three collimated and focused laser beams are modulated through three acousto-optic modulators separately. After being modulated and color-mixed, the laser beam will carry out the scanning of horizontal lines and vertical lines through controlled double galvanometer, and then former image can ultimately be displayed on the large screen. The main works in this paper are:1. Specifically, this paper discusses the question of chroma such as the resolved ability of the eye to color, the discipline of the color mixing and so on. It is the basic of the technique of color mixing.2. It studies the technique of color mixing and submits the new program using color mixing of optic fiber. It discusses the lens selection, the matching of numerical hole, the demand of input ray and the loss of energy of ray during the course of using the coupling of optic fiber.3. In the aspect of modulation of laser, it researches the new program which through LD drive electrical source to modulate outputs electric power of solid-state laser has been uses and a few modulation of laser that was often used. By analyzing and comparing we make sure the program and analyze the technique acousto-optic modulator in detail. Under the actual conditions of the laboratory we do the laboratory of acousto-optic modulator, submit the program which nonlinear calibration modulation of AOM is realized by a real-time inquiry circuit. Laser display experiments have proved its correctness and feasibility.The conclusions in this paper are achieved from theory analysis and experiments. We hope that these conclusions are useful to the prospective laser TV system.
