Design And Development Of WEB2.0-based Enterprise Knowledge Management Platform

In knowledge economy age, economic growth mainly depends on the improvement of total factor productivity, which includs advancement of science and technology, institutional innovation and management improvement, as a result, how to improve productivity of knowledge worker become enterprise's most critical challege and knowledge management's importatnce went without saying. Traditional knowledge management software which have been used in internal enterprise,due to only depending on minority's power,lacking attaching importance to general employees,and other shortcomings such as ignoring the process of knowledge study and innovation,can't transfer implicit knowledge to explicit knowledge efficiently,lacking interactivity and management of informal information, have seriously restricted the development of enterprise knowledge management,and therefore can not face the knowledge economy age's challenge.But in 2004, the invention of WEB2.0 happen to be able to make up those deficiency.This paper is based on that background, using the concept and technology of WEB2.0 as well as open-sourced platform DotNetNuke to build a brand-new enterprise knowledge management platform.It has five chapters:The first chapter is foreword.It firstly introduces the history and problem of enterprise knowledge management system. Based on the background of invention and development of WEB2.0, this chapter puts forward to build a WEB2.0-based enterprise knowledge management platform.It also has analysed current status of study both at home and abroad, then pointed out the significance and purpose of study,finally indicated the content of study and innovation of this paper.The second chapter firstly expounds the connotation and characteristic of WEB2.0, then analyses the application of Blog, Wiki, Social Bookmark and RSS in enterprise knowledge management.The third chapter is the key part of this thesis, it firstly puts forward WEB2.0-based knowledge management platform's framework and summarizes the WEB2.0 technology and protocol standard,then brings forward the design plan of WEB2.0-based enterprise knowledge management platform,finally explains the platform's main function modules.The fourth chapter is an introduction of the development process which introducts development method, development environment, main technology, the design of database and the implementation of each main function module. It also points out that this platform needs enterprise's collaboration in many aspects and insisting on some fundamental principle.Finally it indicates some aspects that need to be perfected.The fifth chapter is the conclusion chapter which gives a summary to this paper and forecasts the future of the platform.
