Research And Development On A SCM-based Management System Of Inventory Of Scattered Manufacturing Enterprise

With the intensive market competition and the development of technology, managing technology of companies gain development, new managing model, new concept and new methods appear from time to time as well. Enterprise computerization becomes a common sense among government and enterprise. To win in the competition enterprise should advance their managing level by disposing resource, reducing waste and improving efficiency. So it is necessary for those enterprises to develop appropriate enterprise computerization system.In this paper, the concept of management information system, the necessity of inventory management and the shortcomings of traditional methods are described.This paper introduces that how to manage and optimize inventory in supply chain. In order to decrease the cost of inventory and improve the management level, by considering synthetically about the factors of the quantities of materiel and engaged money and so on, it puts forward a method that after classifying the material with ABC method, adopting different control methods respectively. For example, Class A adopts the controlling method of VMI based on supply chain, and Class B and C adopt the method of regular order, quantitative order, safe inventory and so on.Then the system developing environments, the design of relational database, and the technology of database is introduced.In the fifth chapter, an explication on management module developed with PowerBuilder in the C/S pattern is put forward. In the next, an ordinary introduction of how to realize the program under the PowerBuilder environment is given.In the seventh chapter, first, that the inventory controlling method of Class A materiel adopting the B/S pattern is shown, and an emphasis about the primary technology of system development, such as ASP.NET and ADO.NET, is discussed. Second, it explains some other techniques in common use and the dada safety problem. In the end, the functional module of VMI subsystem is included.
