The Management Innovation Of Public Libraries

The public library is a nonprofit cultural organization for social education. It's always marking the development of science and culture for a nation. The library of a society usually reflects the civilization level in one side of a nation. The 21th century had been said the economic age, it should bring the chances and challenges for the public library. The way the public library deal with the problem in new century could affect the development itself. All the librarians emphasis the topics that would make the public library to develop better, sooner and continuously under the new situation.This paper has studied innovation topics for the public library management under the current situation of the public library in our country. The motives of the management innovation for public library have been stated. The management situation of the library now has been described. The possible innovation direction for the library management has been explored and the public library's managing system, mechanism, running rule and way have been analysed. The innovation methods for the public library management have been put. The knowledge managing, the human resource developing rationally and the performance valuing of library management have been addressed in detail.
