The curriculum is like a window of the undergraduate education in journalism cross-straits univesities,the journalism education level of college can be monitored throuth the educational objectives,curriculum framework and course content. The journalism education of Taiwan area have the higher level than mainland China,the curriculum of the journalism education of Taiwan area also can become a kind of reference on the analysis of the shortage,the existing dilemma and the breakthrough path of mainland China'Journalism education.By comparing the curriculum of National Chengchi University,Shih Hsin University,Chinese Culture University,Renmin University of China,Fudan University,Communications University of China,we can find that there are differences in the educational objectives,curriculum framework and course content, in general, the journalism education of Taiwan area locate in cultivating general-purpose news talents, emphasize the students' ability to think and social responsibility, attention to the practical,booming and international course, there are lots of optional courses; on the other hand,mainland China locate in Cultivating political quality excellent talents,value political quality, the curriculum have shortage of the chaos of contents and irrationality of structure.The dilemma of curriculum cross-straits univesities can be found with such comparions: the contradiction between the practice of infinite change and the limited curriculum; the hysteresis of Mainland area's curriculum in harmony media era,the conformity between supply and demand of globalization of communication,the formalism of general education,the weaken thinking training and the shortage of teacher 's troops. combining the beneficial experience of curriculum in Taiwan,we can conclude that the curriculum cross-straits univesities ,especially the mainland area's curriculum ,should be perfected on several counts : with the idea of people-oriented, creative thought training,added practice,setting up reasonable curriculum,formulate training scheme on the basis of forecasting the employment demand in future,management reform.
