| The establishment of the journalism research institute of Peking University in1918pioneered the news education of the republic of China. Chinese news education in the turmoil of the produce of the republic of China, this is a pursuit of national independence and liberation of the era, it is hoped that through the news media publicity of democracy and science of thought, achieve the purpose of saving the nation from subjugation.During the period of the republic of China news education curriculum largely borrowed from the Missouri school of journalism "Missouri model", which pay more attention to news practice and training the students’ professional quality cultivation of writing ability.
