The Study Of Media Literacy Education Of Contemporary College Students

Media literacy refers to the ability which people face a great variety of media information to sift through and analyze the messages that inform, to understand and question the message,to bring critical thinking skills to bear on all media and to create and produce the new one. In recent years,as the influence of mass media among college students increases widely and deep, the lack behaviour of media literacy which the college students have showed when they face and use the mass media causes people to worry about it. The lack of media literacy endangers the health of college students. The college political education workers must pay more attention on it.This article through research to summarize several reasons for the resulting about the lack of media literacy. It bases on the investigation and analysis of current state of the college students'media literacy. The article suggests to establish a complete set of scientific media literacy education work mechanism and take effective measures to enhance students'media practice exercises which were combined with the era characteristics, national conditions, media particularity and college students of its own characteristics. The author proposes social class jointly establish media literacy education network. Seeking effective countermeasures and solutions by the experience abroad localization. This thesis tryies to provide some enlightenment and reference for the media literacy education in the age of information explpsion and domestic research startting evening.
