The aim of secondary vocational education is to training labors with junior or middle skill, different from general education of academy, researching or engineering. And computer courses in secondary vocational school have the features of practical, creative and functional. With the development of economy , in the background of enforcement of quality education, it becomes more and more urgent to research computer courses teaching methodologies and mode. Task-driven method is a teaching mode of the theories of environment setting and constructivism. Task-driven teaching mode is a method to help students find problem, analyze it and finally solve the problem , and construct their own skills and knowledge in the process.It is proved by education practice in and out of China that task driven method is a applicable method in computer courses teaching of secondary vocational education. This research paper adopts research methods of questionnaire and content analyze and conduct research and implementation of how to use task driven method to optimize computer courses teaching of secondary vocational schools. It is hoped that it will help students to get the training aims in the aspects of knowledge, skill, attitude, and finally to improve self learning and creative abilities of students.The paper is divided in five parts, firstly it analyze the background and current situation of reach and in detail analyze the current situation of computer courses teaching in vocational school and the necessary of teaching mode reform through relative papers. The second part put emphasis on the concept of task driven method, the advantage and disadvantage and theory of it. The third part will elaborate the principle of task design, the implementation process, and research method of task driven teaching method , and computer courses session design based on the method. It will introduce the implementation process in detail with basic tasks and developing tasks. The fourth part will tell the research results analyze and discussion. In the end , the paper will conclude the relative research outcomes, analyze the limitation of the research and put forward the research direction and thought.
