From the writer's experiences in one of the most famous international schools as a teacher of information and technology, I have been fully aware of the teaching system and method of the international schools. By the comparison and contrast between those schools and local schools, some of the features of international schools have been found: wide source of students, multicultural background, training objectives similar to those abroad, world-class curriculum and internationally featured administration mode. Through the observation, analysis, and teaching practice for a long time, the features of students in the international schools have been found: multicultural background in the schools with various nationalities, big cultural gap between students, mobility of students and big difference of their learning and capability level.Through the study of the method of teaching designs of constructivism, optimization theory of teaching process, and effective teaching, it has been found that the task-based teaching methodology and cooperative teaching method can not only attract the attention of the students and achieve better teaching effects in the class of information and technology.In this thesis, the record of a class of 'basis of advertisement design' is included so as to analyse the effect of this teaching method and discuss whether the teaching process of this class has been optimized.Since the limited ability of the writer, there are a lot of places in this thesis to be improved.
