Computer is an essential curriculum in computer speciality and other specialities in the Technical Secondary School of engineering. Its characteristic is cultivating students' practice and operation ability and promoting the improvement of student' s creative thought on the basis of experiments. According to the facts of the technical secondary school students and computer teaching, this paper combined with the characteristic of computer curriculum probes into how to realize the organic integration of traditional teaching method and modern teachings method, and apply Project-based Learning to teaching in the computer classroom teaching of the Technical Secondary School on the base of course contents.In terms of the Constructivism Learning Theory and following the guide idea of "pay equal attention to learning and teaching" , the paper adopts the methods such as education experiments, questionnaire, interview and observation to study the cut-in point, principle and time of applying Project-based Learning in computer teaching. The research has got some conclusions, such as: 1. According to characteristic of teaching target and object, the way of integrating Project-based Learning with traditional teaching method timely, reasonably and flexibly and exerting each advantage supplement each other to achieve supplement each other would arouse the enthusiasm for study of students on computer courses. 2. The application of Project-based Learning can break through difficulty that couldn' t be settled or solved drastically by traditional teaching so that students have a further knowledge of the computer. 3. The organic integration of Project-based Learning and traditional teaching method can optimize the computer teaching effect. 4. The timely application of Project-based Learning in the computer classroom teaching of the Technical Secondary School shows in whether it can grasp the proper time, opportunity, time limit, time effect and actual effect according to characteristic of teaching target and object and on the principle of the computer' s science and teaching law.
