The rapid development and extensive application of information technology have become a primary characteristic in the world. Applying information technology to set up information internet to realize computer automation management has been a major method to improve management and increase efficiency for all walk a life. With our country's reform in railway system, locomotive depots are improving self-management level and competitive capacity and level of Locomotive fuel-filling and fuel information management. At the same time, a number of software and hardware projects have formed their own systems, so it cannot realize data-sharing of the whole locomotive depot and has brought about much waste of manpower and material resources and man-made fault, the railway department fuel reports are filled in, calculated and submitted by manual work, the management is inefficient. This locomotive fuel information system make use of advanced computer internet management technology and apply the procedure control based on C/S model to integrate the oilcan measuring system, automatic control system for oiling of locomotive and fuel report system in the paper. It eliminates the disadvantage of mechanical and iterant manual work. The automatic control system for oiling of locomotive applies PC104 industrial control computer and IC technology to realize collection, storage and transfer of all data. The oilcan measuring and fuel report systems finish the plan, measuring, inspection of fuel and dynamic management of oilcan storage, fuel-filling and offer. Thus it realizes the date-sharing information from locomotive depot to substation, which really makes the locomotive fuel information management intellectualized.
