This paper takes depot--the unit of railway production and operation, as the practice carrier, gate building management in locomotive section as the research key, to improve the "locomotive turnover" as the research object, carries on the strict comb from the production process, finds out the influence of "turnover" locomotive Guan Jian node, from the management and technical innovation point of view, builds scientific and efficient management system to solve the problem that locomotive must "once parking" and do a series of work etc. The four research objective:to realize the object of unattended sluice floor; to achieve the auto generation of the entry segment information of locomotive, without manual input driver entry; to video monitor the operating state of the locomotive; to record real time dynamic showing the situation of locomotive track dynamic number and library storage.Engine management system uses the B/S structure, the advanced Spring+Struts+Hibernate framework, the JAVA programming technology of Web and three layers of structure based on B/S mode. This system uses the WEB dynamic database, Oracle as the background database, Java language development, and Jdk1.6, Tomcat6.0as runtime environment. A flexible B/S (Browser/server) architecture makes the system’s use and maintenance simple and convenient, as well as makes the system installation and release more quickly. The user interface is mainly browser mode, which based on the vehicle track dynamic IE browser B/S display structure, technical function using graphics scaling, so that the graphics can support three enlargement and reduction. In the development field building of locomotive brake, read data function, the use of Windows services in the development of technology, the Windows system runs automatically in the background, the related database operation using multi threading technology. To prevent offline of internet affecting program execution, it uses the mechanism of anti-offline. In order to prevent the high usage of CPU, the dynamic CPU uses a protection function.Compared to other systems, engine management system innovate in the following aspects:Locomotive section automatically check point function; the locomotive monitoring operation data can obtain through gate locomotive building timely, shortening the locomotive turnaround time; Locomotive stands, locomotive fault, whether locomotive spare parts is expired, whether vehicle tools are in good condition, and such information are all displayed through the large screen system; The crew can quickly find the locomotive with less time, which reduces the safety risks of going back and forth across the track; Locomotive live forecast function, can automatically display the locomotive fault in dynamic map, answering the fault with corresponding locomotive in advance, which reminds relevant departments to timely grasp the information, to improve the quality of locomotive.Through the computer network management, not only can reduce the intensity of the work of managers at all levels, to strengthen the control of the operation process, so that the locomotive turnover rate, car servicing quality can be greatly improved, but also can ensure the safety operation of the locomotive, saving the cost of production. Not only has good social and economic benefit, but also has the obvious safety benefits.
