Along with the applying of Computer Informatization widely and the entry to WTO, there is higher requirement for the transportation of railway in our country. Via to the applying of JK2000 System, the Security System of Railway in our country has been built basically. However the data transferred from the JK2000 System must be deal with. Thus the realization of Management Information System in Locomotive Depot and so on must be completed as soon as possible. There are lots of work which are being done in handwork fashion still in More than 100 locomotive depots, such as drawing locomotive turnover picture and managing the dispatching of stewards and the reporting of data to leadership units and so on. Presently these methods do not answer with the requirement of the Times. Therefore, at this time the realization of "TMIS" become the only avenue for the informatization of railway management in our country. At early time of 2001, "TMIS" had been established as a project to be developed in TEG, and a Software Development Department had been organized to develop it. The Operation Management Information System in locomotive depot plays a large role in the collectivity design scenario of TMIS. And this project is managed and developed by me.The Operation Management Information System in Locomotive Depot follows to the principle which is called designing once time and carrying out step by step in collectivity design scenario of TMIS. Using the composite frame system , CORBA component technology, ORACLE DB system , OOA and OOD method, we have analyzed and designed the whole system.This paper discuss the frame system in enterprise level and corporate the requirement of the Operation Management' Information System in Locomotive Depot, and chose the composite frame system as its frame system. Describe the technology and application of CORBA component software, and in the system there are some CORBA middleware, such as BasePicture. Analyze and design the Key arithmetic particularly using OOA and OOD technology. Expatiate the characteristic of ORACLE DB system and the designing principle in this system. Finally, discuss the function of three subsystems and the call-out relation of someObject's methods.The leaders in JiNan Locomotive Depot had checked these three subsystems and said highly about these subsystems.
