The Research On University Physics Teaching That Embodies Physics Culture

Abstract/Summary:
Physics is culture. Human society is influenced deeply by rational and deep-seated physics culture. Nowadays, On this background that People pay close attention to culture value of physics, but the deficiencies of physics culture in teaching became universal, how to mainly grasp physics culture and how to embody it in teaching is very important in the research of physics education, and it need to be discussed actively and effectively.The following methods are used in this thesis: investigation method, experimental method, literature research method, statistical analysis method, way of qualitative analysis and action research method. This thesis discusses physics culture and the relationship between physics culture and physics teaching; reveals the reason of lacking physics culture in University Physics teaching; studies University Physics teaching design which embody physics culture systematically and implements it in teaching test, integrating with theory of physics cultural studies, teaching theory and instructional design theory.The study results show that the narrow concept of physics culture embodying the way and effectiveness of physics culture to student learning and individual development base on the deep thinking of physics culture. And it also shows that a new kind of University Physics teaching design has been described according to University Physics teaching objective and content which embody physics culture, macro-strategy, micro-strategy and teaching management strategy of teaching organization based on the analysis of teaching system design. These aspects strengthen the study of physics culture and University physics teaching practice. At the same time, the relationship between University Physics teaching and physics culture that established in this thesis list not only expand the content of University Physics teaching, but also becomes the direct basis of embodying physics culture.Taking into account the limitations of this article, further research will focus on comparison study of teaching test to achieve quantitative analysis for the conclusion of teaching system design. It still need further study in order to inspect the learning results which arise from physics culture teaching and the effects on students.
