Against a new foundation educational course reform background,"Teacher as researcher", has been receipted by most teachers. Each teacher has to learn the knowledge of educational science and research and grasp how to carry out educational and teaching research. Training stage is the"academic"training period of teachers'professional development, also is the formal start of teachers'development. At this stage, students in normal universities should be trained with pre-education of special educational and teaching research. But have the students in physics faculty of normal universities realized"Teacher as researcher"yet? How do they evaluate themselves? What should they experience before they have formed or improved the educational and teaching research ability? How they feel and what did they learn? What are the more essential factors of forming this ability? What kind of pre-education do educators (schools and teachers) need to help the students? To solve the problem, deep researches are required.This research was carried along three paths base on"qualitative research"method. One is a study of a student in physics faculty of a normal university, who has just formed the ability of educational and teaching research. For a long period of one and a half year, we deeply and detailedly trained and track recorded the process of his educational and teaching research ability formation, abundant. Another is about researcher"me", recorded my ability changing and my feeling throughout the cooperation with the testee. The other is detailed interview of a student in physics faculty of a normal university, who has just formed the ability of educational and teaching research. Throughout the interview, important information about his ability development was collected.This research deeply analyzed the material collected, took"waken science research consciousness","exploration the method of educational and teaching research ability training"and"development of educational and teaching research ability"three stage as topic, depict the testee, and introduced how to waken science research consciousness and the effect, analyzed the main variable of development of educational and teaching research ability of testee, training method and training result. This indicated the conception and act changing of testee after they formed such ability. Meanwhile,"My"research ability changing and"My"feeling were described. Besides, this research deeply analyzed the development of educational and teaching research ability. From all above, we finally draw some as follows:1. Education and teaching research ability development stages of physics student in normal universities and colleges: before-organization state, organized state, critical state and self-organization state.2. Physics education and teaching papers can be divided into three levels: physical experiments and the formula derived class, physical teaching and learning methods, physics education theory.3. The thesis that physics student in normal universities and colleges are good at is: physics experiment and the formula is derived. Students should be guided to combine physics research with education teaching research, and the effective way to train physics student education and teaching research ability is to transform physics research into education and teaching research.4. It is methods that the order parameter, by which Physics student in normal universities and colleges develop education and teaching research ability.5. Preceding education, by which physics students in normal universities and colleges education research ability can be trained, is feasible and effective.
