With the coming of times of information, more talented people are required, who can learn a lot of knowledge and technologies in short time, who are equipped with creativity. For higher education, the lecturers of all the subjects should teach students knowledge and cultivate their awareness and ability of creativity. In this dissertation, the following questions are discussed: for Physics education in colleges or universities, using the teaching style of'investigation'properly is for the cultivation of students'ability of investigation and creativity ; when this teaching style put into use, what problems will be paid attention to and the evaluation on this teaching style. In the first chapter, it introduces the background information, the purpose and methodology of this dissertation. In the second chapter, based on the review and analysis of how to cultivate talented people in foreign countries, I tentatively suggest how to put the teaching style of'investigation'into use for physics education on colleges and universities. The third chapter gives the definition of investigation first, and then describes the features of the teaching style of'investigation', after that analyzes the theoretical founding of'investigation'teaching style from theoretical level , lastly, the possibility and necessary of applying the'investigation'teaching style into physics teaching in higher education. The fourth chapter discusses the features of physics in higher education and university students'psychological features on learning. It also discusses the proper teaching methods in physics education. In the fifth chapter, it tells the relationship between'investigation'teaching methodology and the traditional one, it also discusses the requirement on the lecturers who will do investigation teaching and the relationship between teachers and students. All these are the problems should be paid attention to in investigation teaching style. The last chapter presents the evaluation on investigation teaching style that contains the theoretical principles of evaluation, the rules , the contents and the operation of evaluation.
