In the past few years, with the rapid development of High Vocational Education, There lie some trouble following, reducing or cutting the undergraduate Advanced Mathematics, which requires us to reform the curriculum and build this course with vocational educational characteristics.Based on the research of documents, according to the questionnaire surveys and conversations, this paper makes an analysis of the function, the content, the evaluation of teaching and its connection with the specialties and with the development of the students' career under the quantitative examination. The conclusion is reached that as a fundamental curriculum in High Vocational College of Engineering, Advanced Mathematics should follow the principle of essentialness and adequateness under the guidance of cultivation of the well-qualified workers. A further suggestion is also given that modularized structures and diversified evaluations be built in such schools. |
