We know that vocational college students' mathematical education directly influence on students' specialty study, craftsmanship cultivation and future development. But the current state of the students' mathematics learning is so worrying. Therefore, it should be worthy of great attention to probe into the reform of higher vocational mathematics education based on the present situation of the students' mathematics learning. In this article, it is described through questionnaire inquiry and interview in students. Basing on the fact, according to the theory of mathematics education, some opinions are put forward about reformation of mathematics courses, classroom teaching and evaluation on achievement combing with the purpose and characteristic of higher vocational school education, Views on study guidance are also presented.1. Mathematics courses in vocational college should be of basis, practicability, applicative, diversity and perspective, not models such as "the discipline type" and "technical secondary school type". Mathematics courses reformation theory and its relative system which is suitable for speciality must be set up. Compile teaching material easy and fond for students and afford them abundant mathematics course resources effective for study on their own.2. The common "pouring-in" model existing in the mathematics teaching of the higher vocational school which disregards students' acceptance ability should be reformed. Considering carefully students' study foundation, selecting reasonable teaching model, using synthetically various teaching methods, we think that probing type teaching model and teaching type model are regarded as equally important, so as to promote students to participate in the teaching course.3. Mathematics study effect is restricted by interest, attitude and methods of study. According to psychology character of student of higher vocational school and the problems in their mathematics study, we must inspire students' motivation in mathematics study and cultivate their interest so that their study model would be transformed.4. Single written examination goes against manoeuvring enthusiasm in studying mathematics. Evaluation on three aspects such as knowledge, ability and emotion should be recognized in mathematics teaching, and multi-evaluation in study course be brought into effect, so as to prompt students to participate in the teaching course and to raise students' go-aheadism in learning.
