Process Optimization is a procedure of the business processes’ self-evolving and improving which is under the given constraints and objective requirements. In essence, it is the redesign of an existing process, in order to bring better responds to the dynamic change of the environment. According to the various stages of workflow’s lifecycle, we studied workflow model of business-oriented semantic checks, processes’constraint checking based on the its template, dynamic combination of processes execution in distributed workflow environment, as well as process simulation and evaluation aspects:(1) Analysis of the impact of current business knowledge for the workflow system, from the perspective of the business processes’semantic checking, we proposed a semantic-oriented inspection workflow meta-model. Through adding business rules and constraints on the process template schema, the processes’execution semantic is checked by using business rules before running to reduce the execution error occurs.(2)In order to achieve the processes’collaboration implementation among a distributed workflow environment, we studied service package, parameters and messages’delivering, interface, planning indicators and other factors in the distributed workflow system. For the purpose of interconnection and interoperability between the distributed workflow engines, interface functions’extension and the unified method of services’encapsulation is put forward.Meanwhile, the heterogeneous workflow engine retains its original function and external interface.Furthermore, the goal was achieved to plan in a distributed heterogeneous network environment and choose the best optimal process service which belongs to other workflow systems. In addition, a dynamic combination of process which could enhance the workflow’s dynamic and adaptive performance was also generated among different workflow systems.(3) As the process simulation would reflect more onthe business complexity and variability of the business system, business knowledge should be put into every aspect of workflow simulation as much as possible. We designed the simulation method, system’s establishmentand an evaluation model based on process optimization goal wasbuilt in this dissertation. According to the indicator parameters for process simulation, it provided the basis for the evaluation of process optimization’s results. Finally, the process exceptions whichwould influence the workflow’s performance were classified and analyzed.(4) Large amounts of information, such as the indoor and outdoor temperature, the work status of actuators and the crop growth status, needs to be analyzed in greenhouse environment’s control. In this dissertation, the process was proposed to describe the information perception and processing, to model the control strategy and the synchronization message of all the controlling subsystems. Additionally, the workflow technology was proposed to ensure auto or semi-auto information collection, processing and determination, and sharing and integration. Based on this, all the independent regulatory systems can collaborate with each other, different control systems and management systems can work coordinately.
