In1990s, a lot of entrepreneurs, experts and scholars began to focus in business processes and make plenty of researches from a lot of angles, especially in America, experts in the U.S.A invested up to$1trillion to improve the efficiency of business process. But they failed to get an expected effect even if so many money and resources were invested. In2001, a report of FCD of British showed that through the investigate of over600companies, new business process of at least45%of the enterprises is worse than previous. And there is no significant effect in30%of the enterprises and only25%of enterprises made it successful and made the efficiency of business process better.. There are a lot of reasons which could make BPR useless, for example, the managers of the enterprise do not pay enough attention to BPR because they do not realize the importance and difficulty of BRP, or some managers thought the BPR is very simple. And there is another significant reason that there is no a set of scientific standards by which we could judge the result of BPR.The paper will describe the Business Process through Flow Chart, then give modeling to Business Process based on stochastic Petri net and make analysis and judgment to Business Process. The major contents of using stochastic Petri net can be specified as follow:1. There are a lot of advantages using Petri nets, for example, it is defined through strict mathematical way and could be expressed through a graphical forms. At the same time, we can describe systems and system’s behavior using a wealth of scientific ways and techniques, which are suitable for the description of asynchronous, concurrent computer system, which is not only consistent with the business process requirements, but also facilitated by a systematic business process. 2. The reachability-graph of a stochastic Petri nets is up to isomorphism in a random Markov chain. Base on Markov chain, we can get the reachable set first, and then draw up Markov chain which we can use to work out some significant data such as steady-state probability and so on,which can provide the scientific basis to the management of enterprise business process.3. Stochastic Petri is a formal tool, which is not suitable for business process of small enterprise because the business process of small company seems too simple, but the modeling tool is overly complicated. And when it is used to describe a complex system, its advantages can be reflected.
