The Research And Design Of Customer-Design Business Process Software

There's no doubt about the importance of business processes because it is the core and essence of operations. With the development of economic globalization, information networking and demand diversification, market and customer needs are rapidly changing, thus business processes have dynamic features. However, traditional software system is for the stable business processes, it has difficulties in dealing with the new characteristics which includes: (1) traditional software is short of describing changed business model, moreover it doesn't support the business processes changing and reengineering; (2) business process customization is completed by the programmers in traditional software, but programmers can not be completely familiar with the business.For modifying the above limitation of the traditional software, this design is based on modern logistics enterprise business processes, and the business processes is customized by users instead of programmers after researching many related techniques and improved information systems' software architecture. In order to implementing such business processes which is customized by user, the architecture which separates the master-control interface and business processes is adopted. The master-control interface provides a framework that drives business process, loads the process dynamically according to system configuration while the business process is completing its task. In this architecture, the system can maintain the business processes without changing the framework. And then master-control interface load the new process via system configuration. Business process is not provided by the system, and is created by Business Process Generation System. In the new business processes database system, instruction sets of common database access are encapsulated in stored procedure and user-defined functions. In that case, it can access data safely and quickly. The database also provides a set of safety elements which are expandable.The research is based on business process in logistics enterprises, but it is not limited to the use in logistics enterprises. This thesis introduces the present research status of business processes, background of the project and purpose of the research, followed by a needs analysis, introducing the related basic theories and technologies, focusing on the software system architecture and building methods which support the changes of business processes. In the overall design chapter, the system architecture is described, which includes the environment that supports the database, generation of business processes and framework which drives business processes. And then each part of the system architecture is described in detail.
