Research On The Method And Technique Of Federation Life-Cycle And Whole System Management

The simulation management origins from the simulation system execution management, it studies how to organize and the control simulation system execution effectively. This dissertation expands the scope of simulation management research to the simulation system life cycle entire process and the entire system, key to the design, the development, the test, execution process and the entire system management of HLA simulation system (namely federation). The goal is to solve the problem of constructing and utilizing federation "fast, better, more saving" using the shared resource. In fact, federation life cycle entire process and the entire system management question, is applying simulation resources (simulation data, simulation model and simulation tool) synthetically. Therefore, the paper studies how to construct the simulation management control environment under HLA for the simulation user and the system designer developer. User can manage and dispatch each kind of data, the model and the tool resources to finish job of each stage simulation. In this foundation, the paper study the essential technology involved according to the HLA characteristic, design and develop execution management tool.The paper has carried on the expansion to the HLA management research, proposed the idea of federation entire process and the entire system administration, in view of the simulation technological development tendency and the application demand. Federation is regarded as a kind of special distributed software product, according to the concurrent engineering industrial design manufacture domain as well as the software concurrent engineering theory and the method, apply the workflow management technology and the product data management technology to the federation design and execution process (FEDEP) management and the system life cycle data management. The implementation method of entire process and the entire system management is proposed with the core of FEDEP workflow management and the federation data management.Base on the utilization pattern of HLA this paper propose the concept of simulation integrated environment, analyzes its structure and the composition, especially the management and control environment's architecture and key technology. Combine workflow management and FEDEP, an FEDEP workflow model is achieved, it also known as federation workflow. The federation workflow's characteristic and the implementation method has analyzed. The federation entire system management is realized through federation data management. According to the product data management of concurrent engineering, this paper study federation's data architecture and propose federation data management FDM. FDM's function structure model tools integration based on FDM was studied. At last of this chapter the data management's standard problem is discussed.In the key support technology of management aspect, the paper studied data exchangetechnology based on the XML, the component based federate develop technical, load balance technology and the data collect access technology and so on proposed the simulation scenario description transformation and inspection standard based on the XML, bus based component federate model, the static dynamic load allocation balance method and data storage technology based on the serialization of 00. On the basis of these technology the related manage tool was designed and developed.In the federation execution management monitoring aspect, the paper has inherited the simulation management research results under DIS, constructed execution entire process management tool suite. Inspired by the idea of simulation grid a simulation experiment administrating terminal was design and developed to be in charge with system's software and hardware resources comprehensive dispatch. Also a MOM based federation execution management tool KD-FMT with extendable plug-in interface was designed. All these tools and the study on other tool such as data collect tool, FEPW editor, data analyze tool has formed the perfect tool system.The paper research results, including the idea and method of HLA simulation management, the entire process management tool software, essential technical and the technical plan and so on, already be utilized in more than 10 distributed simulation system developments.
