Hla Simulation Resource Description And Management Methods

Simulation Resource is the base of simulation system developing. The appearance of High Level Architecture(HLA) provides a solid technical foundation for the resource reusability and interoperability in the distributed interactive simulation system. But it doesn't do enough work for resource management and effective utilizing. At present many kinds of simulation resource lack of perfect standard for description and management. And the organizing frame of simulation resource isn't consistent either. These facts cause a great of wasting and have become an important problem in simulation developing. So enhance the research of simulation resource take a important part in simulation system developing.Simulation Resource Management System(SRMS) is proposed under this background. The purpose to building the SRMS is to organizing all kinds of simulation resourse in order so that they can be managed together. It will be the support of realization of modeling and simulation resourse reusing, promoting the completely share between simulation resouses, improve the efficiency of simulation system.Resource description and management is the base of builing SRMS. Almost all the work of building SRMS is surround resource description and management. Based on the achievement and experience from several resource management system constructer of internal and external, combined with the characteristic of HLA simulation system developing, and begins with HLA simulation resource description and management, this paper has presented a newest solution of resource description, organization, registing and searching. In order to solve the problem from HLA simulation resource interchanging data between different system, this paper adopted a method which based on metadata and XML to describe simulation resource. On the style of simulation resource management, this paper proposed three methods which are based on procedure, type and model. Finally, this paper designed and actualized the system structure and main functional module.The work of this paper is one of the simulation environment design thesis. This project has a great significance for our simulation resource constructer and simulation system developing.
