Research And Develop On Product Data Management System Supporting Concurrent Design

It is very important to focus on the research of Product Data Management System (PDMS) Supporting Concurrent Design in our country. After the definition,main content and present situation of PDMS have been introduced,the conception of PDMS Supporting Concurrent Design is proposed. Product design data model is established on the base of Object Oriented Model (OOM) foundation method and tree data structure theory,The paper has put forward the idea of currency data structure tree and design data structure tree seperate model foundation. The process model foundation method in which IDEFO and structure analyse are integrated is applied to define the Concurrent Design process model. Combined with Client/Server network database manage system,the frame and implementation of Concurrent Design System Based on Product Data Management are discussed.
