Children’s reading is a key area of social science,education and culture.Graded reading,as a new way to explore and promote children’s reading,was first introduced into Chinese mainland in 2007.After more than ten years of development,it has gradually established contact with Chinese books,but there are still many aspects to be developed.In order to deeply explore the application of graded reading in children’s library reading guidance in China and build a systematic,standardized and practical graded reading guidance service system,this paper first constructs the research basis of graded reading guidance service in children’s library.On the one hand,it introduces schema reading theory,cognitive development theory and recent development zone theory as the theoretical basis of system construction,On the other hand,the realistic basis of system construction is discussed in terms of necessity and feasibility.Secondly,the article refers to the more successful graded reading guidance service system in the world,and summarizes the advanced experience and enlightenment,such as extending the scope of reading guidance service,multi-dimensional design of reading guidance service content,improving graded reading ecology and so on.Thirdly,in order to understand the needs of children’s readers for graded reading guidance service and the current development status of graded reading guidance service of children’s Library in China,this paper uses the methods of questionnaire survey,interview,supplemented by network survey,and finds that there are uneven service quality in the field of graded reading guidance service of children’s Library in China Some problems such as lack of service content and rough grading standards,and the causes of the problems are analyzed.Finally,based on the above research,this paper determines the six elements of the construction of hierarchical reading guidance service system of children’s Library in China: subject,principle,mode,content,object and guarantee mechanism.
