Compared with China and the west,foreign graded reading has developed for a long time with wide participation of market participants.There are already widely used grading standards,such as lexile,GRL,DRA and other mainstream grading standards,which are accepted by the majority of parents and students.However,the development of graded reading in China is relatively short.Although some achievements have been made in the research and practice of graded reading,there is still a lack of research and promotion in Chinese children's graded reading.Chinese children's graded reading is still in its infancy due to the difficulty of Chinese grading,the lack of joint efforts of market participants and the lack of user cognition.In addition,children's book editing and publishing occupies a very important position in China.As the "leading force" in the publishing industry,it has always been the focus of the national reading promotion work.Graded reading has naturally become a deeper and deeper reading demand in the current society with its scientific and systematic characteristics.In the future,how to develop and promote children's Chinese graded reading is still a topic we need to explore.The concept of children's graded reading is imported,which is affecting our reading methods and habits.This paper will describe the development of Chinese children's graded books under the guidance of the concept of children's graded reading,so it mainly expounds from five aspects.The first chapter is the introduction,which is mainly composed of the the origin of topic selection,research significance,literature review and research methods.The second chapter first defines the concept of children's graded reading,and fully defines the concept of graded reading,which is the basic work of this paper;then analyzes and understands the design significance and design principles of this concept,and makes it clear that graded reading is the general trend.After comparing the development of graded reading in China and the west,we can fully understand that there is still a long way to go for graded reading in China.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the two design elements of Chinese children's graded books based on the concept of graded reading,respectively from the perspective of users and the book itself,involving age,gender,reading ability,vocabulary,text,arrangement and other dimensions,so as to provide readers with book selection reference,and then summarize the current difficulties faced by the graded reading of Chinese children's books,so as to understand The current development dilemma is the premise of providing the future publishing strategy of graded books.In the fourth chapter,a case study of "one mu treasure box",which is known as "Oxford tree of Chinese world",is selected to analyze the content,form design,value-added services and marketing promotion methods of the product,which is in-depth and subdivided enough to summarize the development methods and characteristics of the product.The fifth chapter discusses the future development of Chinese children's graded books on the basis of case analysis,and puts forward feasible suggestions.The last part is the prospect of the future.Graded reading is necessary and needs the joint efforts of all market players.
