The digital transformation of university libraries is inevitable as the technology matures,and will certainly change the management mode and service mode of libraries.Faced with the possible personnel reorganization and business innovation as well as the increase of service outsourcing content,whether university librarians have the ability to cope with the change of professional environment will directly affect the trend of transformation.As the medium of interaction between teachers and students and the main provider of information resource services,the librarians’ career satisfaction also affects the service quality and level of the library.How to improve the service quality and adjust the working condition is of vital to the teachers and students.This paper aims to find some measures to improve the career satisfaction of university librarians by exploring the influencing factors of career satisfaction.This study uses the method of quantitative analysis to analyze the career satisfaction of university librarians in Fuzhou University City by combing domestic and foreign literature and selecting two variables of career flexibility and career commitment.The research object of this paper is university librarians in Fuzhou University city.Through analysis and research,it is found that : in the empirical analysis of the relationship between career flexibility and career commitment and career satisfaction of university librarians in Fuzhou University City,career flexibility and career commitment are significantly correlated with career satisfaction;Occupational flexibility was significantly correlated with occupational commitment.The research shows that the influence of career flexibility and career commitment should be valued in order to further improve the career satisfaction of university librarians.Secondly,librarians’ career satisfaction and service quality and level can be further improved through self-promotion,setting up correct professional values,cultivating professional interests and positive guidance in organization,establishing fair and reasonable performance evaluation,salary and promotion system.
