Career plateau is the peak of an individual's career,it is the relative termination of responsibilities and challenges in the upward movement,and a stagnation period in an individual's career.It has been shown that the career plateau has characteristics of stoping promotion and changing title,the career plateau phenomenon is increasingly becoming the focus issue what enterprise and individual concerned.It has great influence about modern enterprises and employees,the senior staff are the most typical,so this paper analyzes the problems of senior staff's plateau issue through theoretical analysis and empirical research.ZDT proportion of senior employees is increasing by year,career plateau has became a typical problem.This paper focuses on the senior employees of ZDT,through deep investigation and analysis,to find the current situation and problems in their occupational plateau,and the paper proposes solutions to the problems found,to mobilize the enthusiasm of senior employees,adopt effective strategies to reduce or eliminate the negative impact of the occupational plateau,and improve employee job satisfaction,all in all,the value of senior staff is fully used and they could make more contributions.In order to achieve the above goals,the paper collects and analyzes the occupational plateau phenomenon of the senior employees of ZDT company by using the analysis method of qualitative and quantitative analysis.For the qualitative analysis method,the paper uses the method of interview and content analysis,for the quantitative analysis method,the paper uses the method of questionnaire survey and correlation analysis to collect data and make further data analysis.Finally,by the related analysis,to the problems existed in the career plateau period of senior employees in ZDT company,according to the related theoretical knowledge,this paper mainly improves from the following three aspects: improving job satisfaction,debugging organizational commitment and improving job performance.This paper,on the one hand,verifies the phenomenon and influence of the career plateau,enriches the relevant theories,on the other hand,improves the performance level of senior personnel,and creates greater benefits for enterprises.
