With the approach of the knowledge economy era, the competitionfor talents has become one of the core competitiveness of enterprises. Due tothe complex environment of the workplace, the human resources management isfacing unprecedented challenges. However, most human resources managementstaff don·t take career management into consideration while they are performingtheir routines, resulting in a number of employees feeling burnout with lowspirits for engagement, high employee mobility, high separation rate and so on.Under such circumstances, how to promote existing employees tohighly-qualified professional personnel has become a key factor in allenterprises, since this can enhance the core competitiveness of every enterprise.Throughout all development stages of enterprises, employees· careermanagement truly plays an important role in helping enterprises to trainhighly-qualified personnel, and in promoting healthy development ofenterprises. Therefore, it is of great significance to create the careermanagement system for EW employees.In this article, the author analyses the main problems of EW careermanagement, based on its development strategy the present conditions of itscareer management. These problems include: neglect of career management bythe managers, lack of professional human resource managers, lack of effectiveinternal communication and so on. To solve these problems, the article creates acareer management system by referring to a number of relevant references,books and journal articles. The main results of the design are as follows: First,EW employee have to decide whether their career anchor is editorial ormanagerial occupation according to their own characteristics, and then based ontheir anchors, the author designs the two-way career channel and the implementation of the program to help employees achieve their career goals.Second, the author proposes three-phaseμ career management mode, and theestablishment of management-oriented remuneration system and performanceappraisal system. Finally, the author put forward ways to ensure the new systemcan run well.The aim of the research is to put forward the design of EW employees·career management system. In this way, the employees· spirits for work can begreatly raised and the effect of the human resources management can beimproved. It also has a great influence on the future development of EW.
