| With the development and application of digital technology,prompting industries to move toward data-based transformation,the archival industry has transformed in terms of functions and services while moving toward data-based transformation.From manually operable management to machine-automated management,archival data transformation not only demands archival data security,but also places higher demands on archivists’ data security literacy.The level of data security literacy of archival data librarians affects the long-term development of archival archives.As a part of national data security,archival data security is particularly important in protecting archival data security and improving archival data librarians’ data security literacy.This paper defines archival data librarianship,data security literacy,and data security literacy of archival data librarians with reference to scholars’ research on various aspects of archivists’ information literacy,professional literacy,data literacy,and archival security.The data security literacy of archival data librarians is studied using big data security theory and data life cycle theory as the research base theory.Three specific indicators affecting archival data librarians’ data security literacy were established: archival data security awareness,archival data security knowledge,and archival data security competence.The data security literacy of archival data librarians was investigated by sending questionnaires,and the problems existed and strategies were proposed through the analysis of the data.According to the data security literacy survey conducted for archival data librarians in this paper,it can be seen that the current archival data librarians generally reflect insufficient archival data security awareness,lack of archival data security knowledge,and low archival data security capability when dealing with archival data security issues.Therefore,in the context of technology pushing the archival industry toward data,it is a great trend to improve the data security literacy of archival data librarians.To promote the high-quality development of archives,strengthen archival data librarians’ awareness of archival data security,promote active learning of archival data security knowledge,and enhance archival data security response capability are the various responsibilities and obligations of every archival staff engaged in archives nowadays,and are also an important step to guarantee archival data security. |
