Since entering the 21st century,the informationization of society has been strengthened,and the data storm has a great impact on social production,people's daily life and work,and people are increasingly aware of the importance of data resources to themselves.The large amount of data resources,diverse types and scattered distribution have brought certain difficulties to scientific research,and how to maximize the value of massive data requires us to have good data literacy in order to deeply explore the value hidden behind the data.Teaching and research activities in the field of graphic archiving revolve around information and data.The skills of effective data acquisition,analysis and data management have become one of the essential skills for graduate students in the field of graphical archives.By analyzing the existing literature,it is found that the current research and practice on data literacy education in China focus on data literacy education activities carried out in university libraries,mostly embedded in information literacy education,and there is no clear cultivation path yet.At the theoretical level,the concepts and connotations of relevant theories are introduced;the current status of research on curriculum maps at home and abroad is sorted out.The descriptions of data literacy competency words for graduate students in the mapping and archiving professions in the existing literature are sorted out,and26 competency keywords are summarised;the total data literacy competencies required by graduate students in the mapping and archiving professions at different stages are integrated and analysed by drawing on the data life cycle theory,and there are 17 competency keywords.The data literacy competency keywords summarized by the two methods are agreed and summarized,including four dimensions of data awareness,data knowledge,data skills and data ethics and morality.At the practical level,we investigated the recruitment information in the We Chat public number of "LIS jobs" in the past three years,and found that the employment orientation of students in the field of graphical archives is gradually expanding to the field of data from the frequency of the competency standard words;we counted the relevant courses offered by graduate students in the field of graphical archives in 27 universities and screened out some courses that fit the connotation of data literacy.It is found that the current postgraduate education in the field of graphical archives mainly focuses on basic theory teaching and traditional information literacy teaching,and there is a problem of incongruity between the demand for talents and the professional curriculum.Finally,through the previous survey,it can be seen that there is still a large difference in the number of courses related to data literacy education and unbalanced course content in the curriculum of the graphical archives majors;when 27 universities set the training objectives for graduate students in graphical archives majors,the overall bias is in the area of information resource management and service capability,and currently three universities are known to reflect in the training objectives that the training of students' data literacy capability should be strengthened.Therefore,this study points out that data literacy education should be incorporated into the education process of students as one of the training objectives,and based on the social needs,training objectives,data literacy competencies and future career development plans,a general curriculum map with social needs and training objectives as the core,a curriculum planning linkage map with data literacy competencies as the core and a future development map with future career development plans as the core should be constructed.It is hoped that this will provide a reference for the development of data literacy education for postgraduate students in the field of graphical archiving.
