Short video is a new force in the process of building a network power in the country,and has achieved rapid development since its appearance,and as of December 2022,the number of short video users in China has officially exceeded one billion.The surge in the number of users and the explosive development speed have brought a lot of development opportunities for short videos,but also brought complex and diverse short video problems,resulting in turbid and chaotic short video development space,disrupting the normal order of short video space,and bringing great challenges to the existing short video governance model.Based on the theory and application of short video governance and gamification at home and abroad,this study breaks through the traditional mode of short video governance led by the government in China,with policies,regulations and special governance actions as the main means,and explores a new model of short video governance from the perspective of gamification theory.Firstly,by applying the "gamification" element to the short video governance context with the help of incentive theory,the gamification mode of short video governance is defined as an exploratory short video governance paradigm integrated with the concept of gamification.Secondly,the gamification DMC system is used to integrate gamification elements into all aspects of short video governance,and the gamification incentive system is used to change the positioning of the platform and users as the governed party in the traditional short video governance model,and to the platform and users as the participants in short video governance.Coordinate the resource advantages and interest needs of participants,integrate them into the power,mechanism and component elements of the gamified DMC system,subdivide the governance behaviors triggered by game elements in the process of short video governance,and use the incentive forms of gamification points,badges and rankings to implement incentives for participants according to the characteristics of demand,so as to stimulate all participants to consciously,voluntarily and spontaneously participate in short video governance,in order to achieve the effect of bottom-up selfgovernance of short video governance.Finally,combined with the existing governance system in China,it is proposed that the participants of the gamification model of short video governance jointly build an intelligent collaboration platform for short video governance,and improve the short video governance literacy of the participants,so as to ensure the implementation of the model.
