Short Video APP Content Chaos And Governance Research

At present,the proportion of Internet users using mobile phones in China is 98.3%,and the number of mobile applications is 4.15 million.Mobile phones have become the largest Internet mobile devices.Since the short video entered the Chinese Internet industry in 2013,it has more than 400 million users in just six years,and its per capita start 8 times a day,its position in the field of mobile applications can not be underestimated.However,it is accompanied by violent,pornographic,false information and other content chaos.This paper conducts a questionnaire survey on users of short video applications,and conducts in-depth interviews with employees of short video platforms,combined with literature analysis methods to classify content chaos in this field.Identify the direct motivations and underlying causes of this phenomenon.From the platform management level,it proposes a program to improve the content review system and set up a reporting and reward mechanism.From the perspective of industry self-discipline,it is proposed to establish a self-discipline committee and strengthen technical control.From the national and legal levels,measures such as strengthening industry legislation and policy supervision,and strengthening media literacy education publicity work are proposed.
