| With the rapid development of Internet information technology,software development,as a new industry,contributes more and more to the economy,and more and more people begin to pay attention to the schedule management of software development projects.Software development projects generally have a serious lag in the project duration and the cost far exceeds the estimated cost,which makes the project end in failure.Therefore,under the premise of ensuring cost and quality,only by improving the traditional project development mode and introducing scientific project management methods to optimize project schedule management can the competitiveness of enterprises in the market be enhanced and more value be created for enterprises.In this paper,the software development project of Company Y A is taken as the research object.In the process of project development progress management,the critical chain technology is introduced to manage the project progress.Firstly,WBS is used to decompose the project process in detail,draw the project task activity network diagram,calculate the expected completion time of each activity task of the project by using the three-point estimation method,and continuously optimize and adjust the critical path of the project task activity by combining charts.Do a good job in the balance and distribution of project resources and human resources,add a buffer in the process of project progress management,and monitor the buffer,and finally improve the progress management of A development software project,and the construction period is shortened by 28 days compared with the original plan.According to the analysis results in one year,the application of critical chain technology as a project schedule management method in the process of software development project schedule management can help project managers accurately grasp the project development progress,urge project participants and developers to complete the assigned tasks according to the expected time of the established project schedule,improve the work efficiency of project staff,ensure the timely delivery of projects,and improve customer service satisfaction.Through the application of critical chain technology in the progress management of A development software project,it has accumulated experience for Y company to use critical chain technology in software project progress management in the future,and also improved the company’s project completion rate and overall project progress management level,providing reference for similar software development projects in the same industry in progress management. |
