Under the background of the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, the international trade situation is very grim,China’s traditional foreign trade continues to be in the doldrums, and China is facing a grim situation of declining export growth and low trade profits. With the progress of Internet technology,e-commerce industry has a strong momentum of development, and has become a new growth point of China’s export trade. At the same time, under the unfavorable situation of continuous trade frictions between China and the United States and the rise of trade protectionism,China should actively strengthen regional foreign trade cooperation, improve foreign trade structure, and promote the diversification of China’s foreign trade areas. Therefore,"how to grasp the new trade mode of e-commerce,improve China’s foreign trade level, and cultivate the new momentum of foreign trade growth, thus providing a policy basis for promoting the development of China’s e-commerce" has become a new topic of foreign trade under the new situation. It is particularly important to study the path and direction of the impact of the development level of e-commerce on export trade.ASEAN countries are connected with China’s mountains and rivers and folkways, and they are also important partners for China to promote the "Belt and Road Initiative" Initiative.because of multiple factors such as changes in the world trade situation and the weak economic recovery of major European and American countries,ASEAN has become the largest market for China’s foreign trade. It is necessary for China to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with ASEAN.Today’s era is the era of digital economy, the development of foreign trade of various countries will inevitably be affected by e-commerce,the development of ICT technology and other factors. In view of this, the core explanatory variable of e-commerce development level is introduced on the basis of the traditional gravity model. In this paper,on the basis of the existing research, the e-commerce level of ASEAN countries is fitted by principal component analysis from five dimensions: e-commerce platform construction,Internet use, logistics construction, customs clearance efficiency and education level. It is concluded that there is a significant positive correlation between the trade scale between China and ASEAN and the e-commerce level of ASEAN countries, and a positive correlation with the population and per capita GDP of ASEAN countries.it shows a negative correlation with the distance between the capitals of both sides of trade. Finally, the estimated parameters of the gravity model of cross-border e-commerce import and export are obtained based on regression analysis. This paper puts forward some suggestions on strengthening the innovative cooperation of e-commerce infrastructure, coordinating the development of logistics infrastructure, promoting China’s excellent e-commerce platform to open up the ASEAN market, jointly training e-commerce talents, and Chinese enterprises to deeply develop the "overseas warehouse" of the ASEAN market. |
