With the development of the economy and technology,our environment has changed significantly,and so has the project environment.Whether project management can adapt to changes in the background is a significant challenge for successful project delivery,especially under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic for nearly three years.The traditional project management mode needs to be changed due to uncertainties in customer demands and team cooperation.A single project management methodology and waterfall model cannot satisfy the current VUCA(Volatility,Uncertainty,Complexity,Ambiguity)era.As one of the ten elements of project management,communication management is particularly important in such a complex and variable environment,it runs through the entire process from project initiation to project closure,and is the key to the successful delivery of the project.In the process of project delivery,communication is a necessary activity in each process,from pre-sales plan to project launch,to project implementation and after-sales.Good communication management is an important guarantee for the normal implementation of the project plan.The characteristics of the organizational structure also determine that each company will develop a variety of project management processes,companies should develop the communication management mechanism and use the corresponding communication tools based on these characteristics.Incorporating Agile concepts and using agile tools to improve project communication management is one of the current trends,that is,both use traditional and agile project management tools in project processes.This study takes K Software Company as the research object,combines project management theory,communication management theory,project management tools and methods,adopts questionnaire survey,causality analysis,case analysis and other methods to collect communication management problems existing in the process of project delivery of the company,and summarizes and analyzes the causes of these problems.The corresponding improvement scheme is proposed,the implementation plan is formulated and the effect is evaluated after implementation.Through the research of this paper,problems such as low communication efficiency and buck-passing among departments in the communication management of K company have been solved,and the expected results have been achieved.While improving the communication management level of K company,it is hoped to provide some references for companies in the industry with similar project communication management problems. |
