With the gradual development of information technology in our country,the software industry has become an important part of the world,and its role in the national economy is increasing day by day.With the ever-changing internal and external environment and the increasingly lean demands of customers,the individualized demands of customers are constantly increasing,thus increasing the complexity of products in the software industry.Although my country’s software companies can develop products and projects that suit them according to market requirements and specific needs of customers,due to the lack of scientific and efficient project process management,companies have a weak awareness of the software project management R&D process,weak management capabilities,and light processes.,Heavy quality and other common problems.Therefore,when a software project is developed,there is a big gap between a certain actual work stage and the original work goal,but the correct control measures cannot be made in time,thereby reducing the role of project management.In this situation,if software companies want to gain a larger market,they must improve project delivery quality and ensure product delivery on time,and better serve customers,improve customer satisfaction,and enhance customer stickiness.This also requires companies in the software industry to improve their project management capabilities,strengthen and improve processes to improve quality and timely delivery rate control,and better serve customers to enable companies to have better competitiveness in the industry.For this reason,this thesis takes KM Software Company as the research target,uses the project management theory and combines the CMMI capability maturity model to analyze the project management status of KM Company R&D Center,and finds the main factors affecting customer satisfaction through the customer satisfaction questionnaire,which are Project schedule management-low product delivery rate and project quality management-product quality is not up to standard.At the same time,focus group interviews were conducted with the project manager and project team members of KM Company to understand the construction status of KM Company’s project management system on project progress management,quality management,cost management,risk management,resource management,stakeholder communication management and project scope management.And which aspect of the current project management system needs to be solved the most? Through data collection and analysis and 20/80 principle analysis,it is found that the most problematic of KM Company is the project progress management and quality management module.This is also consistent with the results of the customer satisfaction survey questionnaire.unanimous.Through qualitative analysis,fishbone diagram,Pareto,and other analysis to find the root cause of the problem,on this basis,combined with the existing situation of KM company,formed the corresponding improvement measures to enhance the efficiency and effect of project management.Through the implementation of the improved pilot project,the project delivery cycle can be significantly shortened,the product quality can be improved,and the overall monitoring of project management can be realized,thereby improving customer satisfaction.
