Investigation And Research On The Excellent Traditional Culture Reading Promotion Activities Of Municipal Public Libraries In Shandong Provinc

Since 2014,"National reading" has been included in the government work report of The State Council for nine consecutive times.As an important way to realize the beautiful vision of "reading for all",reading promotion has become the core work of libraries,especially public libraries.Now it seems that the important means of reading promotion is to make the public interested in reading through activities,and transform passive reading into active reading.The cultivation of active reading cannot be done overnight,so libraries need to develop scientific and systematic reading promotion programs,carry out long-term reading promotion activities,and drive readers to develop a good habit of reading.So as to improve their own cultural literacy and knowledge level.As the spiritual pillar of the Chinese nation,excellent traditional culture has nurtured generations of Chinese people for thousands of years.However,in the new era of the rise of multi-culture,excellent traditional culture is being ignored by the young generation who are chasing new things.How to combine contemporary Chinese cultural values and vigorously promote excellent traditional culture is a common problem facing the whole society at present.As the "vanguard" of carrying forward and inheriting excellent traditional culture,library should take the initiative to shoulder this responsibility and mission,and inject the nutrients of excellent traditional culture into the hearts of every Chinese.Firstly,this paper takes 16 prefecture-level public libraries in Shandong Province as the research object.Based on the research on reading promotion and reading promotion of excellent traditional culture at home and abroad,this paper defines the core concepts of excellent traditional culture and reading promotion activities,and analyzes the value of reading promotion of excellent traditional culture in public libraries.Secondly,this paper conducted a comprehensive survey on the current situation of excellent traditional culture reading promotion activities of prefecture-level public libraries in Shandong province through the Internet,and conducted a questionnaire survey for readers to truly understand the promotion effect of the activities.Thirdly,through comprehensive analysis,the author summarizes the existing problems of excellent traditional culture reading promotion activities of prefecture-level public libraries in Shandong province from five dimensions: subject,object,way,content and effect.It includes the advantages of the main body of the activity,the object of the activity is not clear enough,the promotion channel of the activity is narrow,the innovation of the activity content is insufficient,and the activity lacks effective evaluation and feedback mechanism.Finally,this paper puts forward optimization strategies from the following aspects: the 16 prefecture-level public libraries should improve the advantages of activity subjects as soon as possible,identify specific activity objects,expand the channels of activity promotion,explore the novelty of activity content and establish an effective activity evaluation system,so as to effectively promote the healthy and sustainable development of excellent traditional culture reading promotion activities of prefecture-level public libraries in Shandong Province.
