Investigation And Analysis On The Current Situation Of Reading Promotion Activities In The Public Libraries Of Counties And Townships In Anhui Province

Reviewing the development of public libraries in recent decades,reading promotion has became one of the most important core services of libraries.In the 1990s,with the rise of modem society's attention to reading,the requirements for civic literacy to the development of political,economic and social began to gradually improved.In this social environment,the general trend of development is to promote the development of reading promotion to improve the quality of citizens.The public library should promote the development of reading promotion with the social development.Based on Anhui province municipal public library as the research object,through the investigation and analysis of the reading promotion activities of municipal public libraries in Anhui province,to summarize the current situation of reading promotion activities of public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province.to find the main problems existing in the process of reading promotion in the public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province,and to put forward some reasonable suggestions.This paper will discuss the current situation and investigation of reading promotion activities of public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province from seven parts:The first part is the introduction of this paper,which mainly introduces the research background and significance,research trends in different countries,research content and method,main concept definitions and innovations,and based on these content to write this paper.The second part is the survey design of the current situation of reading promotion activities of municipal public libraries in Anhui province,including the purpose of survey,the objects of survey,the methods of the survey,the content of the survey and the steps of survey.The third part:It is the main part of this paper,which selects 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province as the investigation objects to investigate their reading promotion activities.First of all,to investigate the basic situation of 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province for the following investigation.Second through the network survey of the 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province reading promotion to get the date from public for micro letter number,official Weibo,official website survey,and then based on these dates to sort out the main ways and participants of reading promotion activities.Finally,a questionnaire survey on reading promotion activities wasconducted among citizens of 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province,to obtain the recognition and satisfaction of reading promotion activities of public libraries in Anhui province.The fourth part:It is also the main content of this paper.Among 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province,three public libraries were selected for typical case to analysis with rich reading promotion activities,characteristics and reference significance.To understand readers' feedback on the reading promotion activities of public libraries.And to find characteristics of these three public libraries in their reading and promotional activities.The fifth part:it sorts out and analyzes the common and typical problems in the reading promotion activities of municipal public libraries in Anhui province.Through the investigation and analysis of the reading promotion activities of 15 public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province,the following five problems are found:the development of reading promotion activities is uneven among counties and townships;Reading promotion is carried out in a general and simple way;Reading promotion activities target a narrow range of people;The publicity method of reading promotion is too few and monotonous.In the process of reading promotion,the content quality needs to be improved.The sixth part:To put forward five suggestions on the problems existing in the reading promotion activities of public libraries of counties and townships in Anhui province according to the fifth part of this paper:The government should promote and increase the support for public libraries;Reading promotion should be carried out in a way that fully combines local characteristics;Broaden the service population of reading promotion to meet the needs of readers;Innovating the publicity methods of reading promotion and expanding the scope of influence;Providing excellent cultural resources for reading promotion activities.The seventh part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main content of this investigation and explains the limitations of this paper.Looking forward to provide some suggestions with the municipal public libraries in Anhui province to carry out reading promotion activities,and also promote the development of reading promotion activities in Anhui province from this survey and analysis.
