Reading is one of the important ways to acquire knowledge,and it is of great significance to personal cultivation,social development and even the prosperity of the country.In 2012,"National Reading" was written into the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.Since then,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have made important arrangements for "National Reading" many times.Under the guidance of the policy,cultural institutions represented by libraries actively carry out relevant activities,but it is the inescapable responsibility and obligation of every group and individual to promote reading for all and build a scholarly society.From the perspective of the public welfare of reading promotion,Xinhua Bookstore,as a state-owned cultural enterprise,shoulders the social responsibility of promoting cultural prosperity,and is a solid actor on the road of national reading promotion.Among them,the county-level Xinhua Bookstore undertakes the grass-roots book distribution work and cultural dissemination responsibilities,which plays an important role in promoting the "last mile" of reading for all.This study takes Xinhua Bookstore in Wugang City,Henan Province as the entry point for reading promotion in county-level Xinhua Bookstore,and uses four elements of reading promotion,namely who to promote(subject),how to promote(method),to whom to promote(object),What to promote(object)and other parts discuss the overall situation of its reading promotion.At the same time,it uses the case analysis method to study two representative activities,and initially explains the current situation of Wugang Xinhua Bookstore’s reading promotion.In addition,the questionnaire survey method was used to understand the reading behavior and book purchasing channels of Wugang City residents on the one hand,and deeply investigate the participation,influencing factors and publicity channels of Wugang Xinhua Bookstore’s reading promotion.The effect of reading promotion in Wugang Xinhua Bookstore provides data support,and then provides a basis for the problems existing in Wugang Xinhua Bookstore reading promotion.Through the analysis of the overall situation of reading promotion,questionnaire survey,field research and analysis of representative activities,it is found that Wugang Xinhua Bookstore lacks professional departments and teams in carrying out reading promotion activities,the activity participation and awareness rate are low,and the activities are practical.Covers issues such as group imbalance,insufficient activity and reading space.In response to the above problems,try to put forward suggestions such as attaching importance to reading promotion and cultivating professional teams;multi-party linkage to create reading brand activities;enriching activity forms and advocating national reading;expanding bookstore functions and building a full-category reading space.More county-level Xinhua Bookstores in the province will provide help and reference to carry out reading promotion,so that they can better play the public cultural service function of state-owned cultural enterprises,help the construction of "National Reading" and "Scholarly Central Plains",and at the same time use reading promotion as an opportunity to reshape Xinhua The bookstore’s "golden signboard" provides new ideas for more cultural enterprises to carry out reading promotion. |
