| In 2022,"Deepening National reading" was included in the Party’s 20 National Congress Report.Building a "booklike China" national reading brand has become an important national policy concerning people’s livelihood.However,with the rapid spread of digital media in the information age and the continuous rise of online bookstores along with technological innovation,the physical bookstore industry,as an offline entity business,has suffered a serious impact.Sluggish industry prospects and competitive pressure from online bookstores have led to declining sales and visits of offline physical bookstores.Under the background of nationwide reading,the physical bookstore industry takes this opportunity to seek transformation to get rid of the current development predicament.The research object of this paper is Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei,Anhui Province.As the largest physical bookstore in Anhui province and located in the provincial capital of Anhui Province,Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei is one of the earliest Xinhua bookstores in China seeking transformation and development.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction briefly describes the research significance and research ideas of the transformation and development of physical bookstores under the background of nationwide reading,combs and summarizes the research on the transformation of physical bookstores at home and abroad,and establishes the research methods and theories of this paper.The text is divided into four chapters.Firstly,through the analysis of the internal and external development environment and elements of Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei,the transformation and development goals of Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei are obtained.Again,the paper explores the operation mode and operation status of Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei City,and summarizes the existing problems in the transformation and development of Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei City under the background of national reading based on the SWOT analysis results.Finally,from the perspective of scene theory,based on exploring diversified business modes of bookstores,shaping attractive reading scenes,innovating reading services,and increasing reading promotion,this paper puts forward logical and feasible countermeasures and suggestions for the transformation and development of Xinhua Bookstore in Hefei under the background of nationwide reading.The conclusion summarizes and looks forward to the research.As the implementation carrier of this policy,physical bookstores will further promote the transformation,upgrading,innovation and development of physical bookstores,create better reading products,space services and activity system,serve readers well,let readers come and stay,promote the reading of all people,build a booklike society,and improve the quality of all people. |
