With the advancement of physics curriculum reform,core literacy in physics has attracted much attention in the education sector.Many entries in the General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)deal with the history of physics and attach great importance to the nurturing value of the history of physics.The integration of the history of physics into physics teaching is one of the effective ways to develop students’ core literacy,not only to understand the journey of human exploration of the natural world,but also to promote students’ understanding of the nature of science and the important role that physics plays in promoting the progress of human civilization and the development of science and technology.How to develop and apply this quality teaching resource,the history of physics,in a rational way has become an important research topic.By reading the literature,constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory and educational reenactment theory are taken as the theoretical basis of this study,and literature research method,text analysis method and questionnaire survey method are utilized to conduct the study.Analyzing the current status of domestic and international research,especially investigating the development and application of physics teaching resources,it was found that there is a lack of systematic development and organization of teaching resources related to the history of physics in high school.The educational function of the history of physics is reflected in many aspects,which can cultivate students’ disciplinary literacy as well as feel the inculcation of humanistic literacy.The curriculum standards also repeatedly suggest using the history of physics to cultivate students’ core literacy.Therefore,in order to enrich the teaching resources of history of physics in high school and optimize its application,this paper conducts a research on the development and application of teaching resources of history of physics in high school based on core literacy.First,a questionnaire survey was conducted from both teachers and students to investigate the current situation of the application of the history of physics in high school physics teaching and found that there are problems such as single access method and difficulty in accessing in the application process,but teachers and students have high interest in it.Secondly,the preliminary proposal of establishing a high school history of physics database is proposed for the acquisition of the history of physics,and the development process of the database,the ways of developing the history of physics and the principles of development are elaborated based on the previous studies,and 101 materials are collated and summarized according to the textbook arrangement of the history of physics.In order to optimize the application of the history of physics in high school physics teaching,we propose four strategies for the application of the history of physics based on the core literacy based on previous research: creating historical situations to understand the concept of physics;developing scientific thinking by going deeper into the development history;reproducing classical experiments to carry out scientific investigation;and forming scientific attitudes and responsibilities by looking at ancient and modern science and technology.Finally,relying on the high school physics history database and the application strategies of physics history,three typical sections of "Free Fall Motion","Motion of Planets" and "Coulomb’s Law" are selected from the high school physics textbook of the Human Education version for teaching design.The innovative point of this study is the establishment of a high school history of physics database.The teaching resources of the history of physics related to the knowledge of high school physics were screened and organized according to the arrangement of the textbook,and the principles of the development of the teaching resources of the history of physics were established by reading the literature,and the preliminary database of the history of high school physics was established.The database will be used to provide relevant historical resources for high school physics teachers to apply the content of the history of physics in their teaching,and to reduce the burden of teachers in searching and screening the history of physics materials.The 101 materials on the history of physics that can be used for teaching high school physics are compiled and summarized with the expectation that the high school history of physics database will continue to be enriched and the content presented in a more diverse manner.
