The quality of delayed primary school after-school service education is related to the future development of students,and is a key link in tapping students’ potential and improving their comprehensive quality.It is also an important stage in deepening the comprehensive reform of the education field.Swimming not only enhances students’ physical fitness and enriches the content of after-school delayed services,but also allows them to experience the magic of water,enjoy the joy of water,and understand the significance of life education.Promoting swimming in delayed afterschool services in primary schools has a positive significance in improving students’ physical fitness,reducing the probability of drowning events,relieving learning pressure,and promoting safe and healthy growth.As a new first tier city,Chengdu has unique advantages in terms of economic and resource conditions,providing a strong foundation for the popularization and promotion of swimming in after-school extended service sports activities in Chengdu.This paper uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,field survey,logical analysis,and mathematical statistics to sort out the significance and necessary conditions of the swimming project in the after-school delay service of primary schools in Chengdu,and to investigate and summarize the typical cases of the after-school delay service of primary schools in Chengdu,as well as students,parents The willingness of schools and venues to provide extended after-school swimming services for primary schools.Aim to comprehensively understand the basic situation of delayed after-school sports activities and swimming events in primary schools in Chengdu;Based on the above analysis,this study focuses on preliminary exploration and research from the aspects of teaching safety,swimming venues,swimming teachers,and teaching settings.It proposes optimization strategies for carrying out swimming projects with delayed after-school services in primary schools in Chengdu,with the aim of providing some reference for the implementation of swimming projects with delayed after-school services in primary schools in Chengdu.The research results show that:(1)The implementation of swimming projects in Chengdu’s primary school afterschool extension service is a beneficial attempt to deepen comprehensive reform in the field of education.Conducting swimming events in after-school extended services is beneficial for enhancing students’ physical fitness,developing their survival skills,and deepening the level of after-school extended services.(2)According to a survey of the current situation of delayed after-school services in primary schools in Chengdu,it was found that the majority of delayed after-school services in primary schools are provided 5 times a week.The content of delayed afterschool services is diverse,and the main forms of implementation are managed services and personalized courses.Teachers are sourced from either local or off campus teachers.During the establishment process,some schools have problems such as ineffective utilization of relevant resources,insufficient comprehensive service content,and insufficient activity settings to meet students’ needs.(3)After conducting a survey on the current situation of delayed after-school service swimming projects in Chengdu,it was found that primary school teachers in Chengdu have certain experience and foundation in swimming teaching.The resources of primary school campus venues are relatively few,but the resources of social venues are relatively rich.In the willingness survey,primary school students,parents of students,and operators of school and social swimming venues have a high level of support for the school’s delayed after-school service swimming projects.Through case analysis of schools that have already offered after-school service swimming programs,it was found that the offering models are self managed and self managed.(4)After investigating the shortcomings of the swimming project for delayed afterschool services in primary schools in Chengdu,it was found that there are problems with inadequate teaching safety measures,lack of swimming venues,insufficient funding,Uneven structure of swimming teaching staff,and inadequate teaching settings.(5)Based on the analysis of the current situation,shortcomings,and actual cases of after-school extended service swimming projects,it is concluded that the optimization strategies for carrying out after-school extended service swimming projects in primary schools in Chengdu are: improving safety measures and enhancing the standardization of swimming teaching;Increase policy support and encourage site construction;Strengthen the construction of teaching staff based on talent cultivation;Improve swimming teaching settings. |
