| In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guidance on After-school Services for Primary and Secondary School Students",which made specific arrangements for the development of after-school services in primary and secondary schools across the country.Currently,with the introduction of the "double reduction" policy and the comprehensive coverage of after-school services for primary and secondary schools in compulsory education,the problems of after-school sports services in township elementary school have emerged,the main problems of which are the lack of school education resources and the deviation of policy implementation.This paper focuses on rural elementary school and after-school physical education services.Through literature,interview,questionnaire,field survey and mathematical statistics,the current situation of after-school extended physical education services in rural elementary school in Tongliang District is studied in the context of the "double reduction" policy,and the current situation of school implementation,teachers’ participation,students’ participation and parents’ perceptions and attitudes are studied.The study aims to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of after-school extended day sports services in Tongliang township elementary school in the context of the "double reduction" policy and to provide strategies to improve the quality of after-school extended day sports services in Tongliang township elementary school,which is important for promoting educational equity and facilitating the development of quality and balanced basic education in township elementary school.The aim is to provide strategies for better implementation of the "double reduction" policy and to improve the quality of after-school extended day sports services in Tongliang township primary schools.The study concluded that(1)under the background of "double reduction",the after-school extended physical education service in six township elementary school in Tongliang District was carried out in an orderly manner,with good results,and the leaders attached more importance to it.(2)Schools have formulated after-school service implementation plans,safety plans,etc.,but lack of implementation details,supervision and management are not in place.(3)The content of after-school extended day sports service is not rich enough,the frequency and duration of the service is high,and the sports venue facilities need to be improved.(4)The ratio of physical education teachers is adequate,young and professional,and the education trend is rising.(5)The teachers of after-school extended physical education service are not enough,there is little cooperation with sports training institutions outside school,little business training for physical education teachers,and the situation of part-time teaching of other subjects is common.(6)All students participate in after-school services,but nearly half of them do not participate in after-school extended day sports services,mainly because there are no suitable programs and no peers together.(7)Parents are concerned about the "double reduction" policy and after-school extended day sports service,and the support rate and satisfaction rate are high,but they rarely participate in the after-school extended day sports service,and there is little evaluation and feedback.According to the problems of after-school extended physical education services in township elementary school,the following suggestions are made:(1)Schools improve the implementation plan of after-school services,optimize the implementation details,strengthen supervision and management,and protect the rights and interests of teachers and the safety of students.(2)Combine the actual situation and increase the content of after-school extended sports services.(3)The government increases the investment of funds in township elementary school to improve the current situation of missing,damaged and old school grounds and facilities.(4)Higher education authorities to organize more relevant training.(5)Strengthen communication between home and school,develop parental resources and village community resources,and supplement the teaching staff. |
