Left-behind children in rural areas refer to minors under the age of 16 whose parents work outside their home or whose parents have no guardianship ability.Rural left-behind children are a special social group after the temporary transfer of large scale rural labor force to the city.At present,the number of left-behind children in rural China is increasing year by year.Due to the special situation of left-behind children,it is difficult to monitor and educate them in rural areas.In the early stage of this study,the status quo of left-behind children in B village in H city was sorted out,and it was found that some left-behind children in B village urgently needed to solve some problems on infectious disease prevention,such as weak awareness of infectious disease prevention,not yet developed healthy living habits,and lack of awareness and ability of family education on infectious disease prevention.The prevention and education of infectious diseases is an important aspect of improving people’s quality of life.The state amended the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases in 2013 in order to effectively help Chinese residents abandon bad living habits and reduce the probability of infectious diseases.Therefore,infectious disease prevention education for rural left-behind children is also an important part of national infectious disease prevention and education.This study takes the left-behind children in B village of H city as the research object,takes social learning theory and field theory as the theoretical basis,and uses questionnaire survey and interview method as the research method.Through in-depth exploration of the problems of left-behind children in B village,the left-behind children are recruited to form an "infectious disease prevention education group" and carry out "ice-breaking activities,fruits and vegetables are turned around." Strengthening memory,infectious disease prevention photo exhibition;Form a habit,health prevention fine explanation;Enhance ability,family prevention big competition;Integrating,role-playing melodrama;Consolidate review,prevention education achievements exhibition and other 6 group activities.Under the organization and guidance of social workers,and through the active participation and interaction of group members,the intervention of the group work finally reached the expected goal: to enhance the awareness of infectious disease prevention of rural left-behind children,to help rural left-behind children develop healthy habits,and to help family members of left-behind children strengthen the awareness and ability of infectious disease prevention education.
