A Casework Intervention Study On The Improvement Of Employability Of Retired Soldiers

Every year in my country,hundreds of thousands of veterans return to society,most of them are retired soldiers.Retired soldiers are not only an important force in building socialism with Chinese characteristics,but also belong to high-quality talents among many employment groups in our country.They have good physical conditions and perfect personal images.Due to the unfamiliar local policies,unsatisfactory employability,and complicated interpersonal relationships,they are also at a loss.Disappointment caused by the employment that did not meet expectations.At this time,social workers are needed to use the concept of "helping others and self-help" to help retired soldiers succeed in finding jobs.In addition to establishing a good relationship of equality and cooperation between social workers and retired soldiers,they also need to have empathy and recognition,and actively guide retired soldiers through self-employment.Ability improvement faces practical difficulties and assists retired soldiers to solve the problem of identity conversion and re-socialization of employment.This article helps retired soldiers to improve their employability through professional methods,professional concepts and professional skills of social work,and assist retired soldiers to solve the ideal employment problem in the new environment.Relying on the theory of advantage perspective,we conduct practical research on client Liu’s intervention in casework,grasp the difficult needs of client Liu through interviews,and focus on personal strengths and resources for estimation.The actual intervention is mainly through role-playing by social workers To assist the client Liu to change his negative emotions and regain his self-confidence,guide the client to tap his potential,encourage him to give full play to his own advantages,achieve the realization of self-worth,actively establish a sense of career planning,and promote the effective improvement of personal employability.In the end,by linking resources,the service object Liu can grasp the opportunity in the new environment,correctly exert his subjective initiative,and strive to achieve an ideal job position with practical actions.
