Research On The Influence Of Social Network On The Retired Soldiers' Entrepreneurship And The Countermeasures

This research takes the rtired soldiers who are building a business as the research object,in Nantong City,Jiangsu Province,uses Snowball investigation,and selects 22 persons to carry out in-depth case interviews.The author collects their personal information and their social network in the process of entrepreneurship,analyzing the impact of the their social network on the entrepreneurial process on the basis of the interview data.According to the research and application of the theory of social network,this paper uses "Entrepreneur Network" to measure the social network of retired soldiers.The social network is divided into six dimensions:social network scale,network peak,network difference,network composition.In this study,the prerequisites for entrepreneurship are divided into four dimensions:instructional information(including entrepreneurial opportunity information and general business information),financial support,emotional support,and partners to study the impact of social networks on ex-soldier entrepreneurship.Study founds that,first,the phenomenon that the social network scale is not big enough,the net top score is low,the network of potential difference is not big enough is common in the retired soldiers'"entrepreneurship network".The subject's social network composition shows Strong relationship accounts for the main part in the tie strength.Overall the situation of retired soldiers' "entrepreneurial network" is not optimistic.Secondly,the author studies how these four dimensions of social networks affect the success of entrepreneurship.It is concluded that the broad network size,the high network top,the large network difference are beneficial to obtain more entrepreneurial guidance information,more financial support and more abundant entrepreneurial resources.While the strong relationship among the subject plays more role on emotional support.In addition,retired soldiers are more willing to find a business partner among strong relationship.Finally,according to the survey results,I propose the following policy recommendations,hoping the government can get inspirations from them.1.Relying on social service organizations to venture capital fund to make up for the lack of network economic resources.2.Encouraging large enterprises to give retired soldiers internship opportunities,enhancing network difference.3.Equipping mentors and improving the network peak.4.Strengthening supervision of entrepreneurship and puting an end to internal network"rent-seeking" phenomenon.5.Cultivating entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurial atmosphere,striving for the support of network members.
